MAS AIR is a Mexican cargo airline that began operations in April 1992.  Currently the Company offers a wide variety of cargo flights to major cities in North, Central and South America, as well as connections to the rest of the world.

Among the main destinations served with direct flights:

  • Miami and Los Angeles in the United States.
  • Manaus and Viracopos in Brazil.
  • Bogota and Medellin in Colombia.
  • Quito and Guayaquil in Ecuador.
  • Caracas and Valencia in Venezuela.
  • Lima, Peru.
  • Buenos Aires, Argentina.

MAS AIR maintains strong cooperative ties with members of its strategic alliance, LAN CARGO, ABSA and LANCO, practice that allows the expansion of its network of destinations and commercial presence in the region. Its fleet consists of four modern Boeing 767-300F with a capacity to transport up to 57 tons each.

MAS AIR's headquarters are located in Mexico City (MEX). It also has offices in the cities of Guadalajara (GDL), Merida (MID) and Monterrey (MTY). Outside Mexico, MAS Air has sales offices in Costa Rica and Guatemala in Central America; New York, Los Angeles and Miami in the United States; Buenos Aires, Caracas, La Paz, Montevideo, Lima, Santiago, Chile and Sao Paulo in South America; and in Europe in Frankfurt, Germany. 

The Company's innovative cargo business approach implemented for nearly 20 years has contributed to the creation and continuous update of a full range of products and services.  In addition with its extensive network of destinations worldwide, it meets customer needs while competing with the highest international quality standards. MAS AIR is recognized for its high quality service, where its proven experience stands out in the transportation of auto parts, computers, mobile phones, technological equipment, flowers, live animals, medical products, perishable goods, among others. 

During 2010, the Company reached an annual gross income of $ 145 MM, becoming Mexico's most important cargo airline.

TAM CARGO, formerly known as ABSA, is a Brazilian entity related to LAN CARGO.  The former company began operations in Brazil in 1995 is now responsible for providing scheduled and charter air cargo services, as well as express and special shipments. It currently operates into 42 Brazilian airports and has access to more than 4,000 locations in Brazil through door-to-door service via ground transportation.

The LAN CARGO network and its related companies operate in 144 locations in 27 countries. In Brazil, TAM Cargo offers the following services: TAM Cargo Next Flight, the fastest on the market for urgent shipments; TAM Cargo Next Day, for shipments being transported the same day; TAM Cargo Standard, ideal for the transportation of bulk cargo; and TAM Cargo International, for import and export shipments in the airport to airport category, with Priority 1 and Positive Specifc Flight options.
